Trinity Internship
A paid internship program for ages 18-28 where you'll grow in your faith, find real community, and get hands-on ministry experience.

Built to Help You Grow
The Trinity Internship exists to disciple the next generation of leaders. If you're a young adult between 18 and 28, this paid program is designed to help you grow through spiritual development, genuine community, and hands-on ministry experience.
Along the way, you'll discover and develop your spiritual gifts, strengthen your leadership, and learn how to disciple others. Our prayer is that you finish the year walking into the calling God has for you with full confidence, preparation, and excitement.

Your Questions, Answered
Is the internship paid?
Yes! The internship is a paid opportunity. Our goal is to invest in and support young adults as they grow in their faith and leadership. The stipend is intended to help offset expenses such as gas, commuting, and time spent serving at the church.
What should I expect during the Interest Meeting?
The Interest Meeting is a chance for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about the internship. We'll explain the program, answer your questions, and discuss next steps in your walk with the Lord, whether that's through the internship or getting involved another way!
Where will I serve in the church?
Each intern's schedule is designed around their interests, gifts, and availability. During the first few weeks, interns have the opportunity to experience multiple ministry areas before choosing where they would like to serve regularly. Potential serving areas include Student Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Real Men, Real Women, Worship, Production, Trinity Kids, Media, Guest Services, Dry Bones (Coffee Truck), Operations, and Security.
I can't commit to a whole year of the internship. Can I still be an intern?
Absolutely! You commit to one 4-month term at a time. Terms run January-May, May-September, and September-January. After each term, you'll have the opportunity to continue into the next term if it's a good fit. You can do up to 3 terms in the program.
I am taking college classes while in high school. Can I do the internship?
The internship is designed for young adults who have graduated high school and are at least 18 years old. If you're still in high school, we'd love for you to come to Student Ministry on Sunday nights from 5-7pm and get involved serving there!
What is the School of Ministry?
As part of the internship, interns attend a weekly class designed to deepen their biblical knowledge and theological understanding. Our goal is to equip interns to always be prepared to make a defense for the hope that is within them (1 Peter 3:15). The class is part of Trinity Church's Discipleship Institute, and the cost of the School of Ministry is fully covered by the Internship Program.
Who is the internship for?
The internship is designed for young adults ages 18-28 who want to grow through spiritual development, community, and hands-on ministry experience. Whether you're considering full-time ministry, preparing for a career, attending college, or seeking God's direction for your future, the internship is designed to help you discover your calling, grow as a leader, and move forward with confidence in what God has for you.
Can I work a job while participating in the internship?
Yes! Many of our interns balance a job while participating in the internship. If you're a good fit, we'll talk through your work schedule and availability to build a healthy rhythm that lets you thrive in the program while keeping a weekly Sabbath and time for rest.
How many hours per week is the internship?
The internship is an 18-hour-per-week commitment: 14 hours serving in ministry, 3 hours attending the School of Ministry and weekend service, and 1 hour of community meals with interns. Meals provided during internship gatherings are covered by the church, creating opportunities for interns to build relationships, grow in community, and share life together.
"Being here at Trinity has taught me so much about what it means to serve Jesus and preach the gospel. The internship has really taught me to trust in God and His timing. I've learned to be vulnerable and step out of my comfort zone. I am so thankful for the internship program and everything it has taught me so far!"
