Director of Marketing & Communications

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable (LMA) by providing vision and clarity, directing and organizing daily work, and ensuring follow-through on responsibilities.

2. Guard consistency of messaging across all platforms, ensuring tone, language, and visual identity align with Trinity Church’s vision and values.

3. Oversee all external communications and strategy to manage the public image and awareness of Trinity Church, with an evangelistic emphasis on inviting people to church.

4. Manage all internal communications to ensure the Trinity Church Family has clarity and clear next steps for everything happening at Trinity Church.

5. Collaborate with the Video Director to plan all communications requiring video assets.

6. Partner with the Creative Arts Pastor to ensure all communications follow Trinity Church brand guidelines as set by the Creative Pastor.

7. Maintain fiscal responsibility for the department budget, stewarding resources wisely and aligning spending with Trinity Church’s mission and priorities.

Required Skills

1. Strong leadership experience.

2. Proven experience leading creative teams and executing large campaigns.

3. 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in nonprofit, church, or creative agency settings.

4. Strong writing and communication skills; ability to adapt tone and style.

Preferred Skills & Experience

1. Ministry experience is a plus.

2. Specific skillset using Asana is a plus.

3. Ability to not just manage but spiritually lead the department.
