Elementary Kids Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
1. Oversee Trinity Kids experience for Kindergarten - 5th grade kids, families, and classrooms to ensure a fun, safe environment to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.
2. Coordinate Trinity Kids Kindergarten - 5th grade volunteer experience to ensure all volunteers are properly onboarded, supported, valued, and appreciated.
3. Serve as Team Lead for outside setup/teardown, maintenance, and organization.
4. Lead the Fireside Crew Program including leadership development and support.
5. Be responsible for all classroom setup, organization, and cleanliness.
6. Provide administrative support for Trinity Kids team.
7. Actively participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all children by adhering to established check-in/check-out procedure, helping monitor classrooms and common areas, and ensuring only authorized individuals who have access. Proactive in taking steps to prevent accidents or unsafe situations.
Required Skills
1. 1-3 years of church ministry (or equivalent) service/experience.
2. This person must have a love for Jesus Christ, Trinity Church, children and their families, and a love for organizing, helping, and serving to further the mission of Trinity Church Kids ministry.
3. Must be hard-working, dependable, and able to self-manage time and workflow.
4. Strong relational skills, warm, trustworthy, and safe.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
1. Training, experience, or educational degree in early childhood education or supervision.
2. Experience in leading staff and volunteers.
3. Experience in event planning and execution.
Work Schedule:
Saturdays through Wednesdays, occasional Thursdays or Fridays.
