Kids Assistant
Job Responsibilities
1. Facilitate and provide support in setting up and tearing down the outdoor kid play spaces for weekend and midweek services.
2. Lead and supervise junior interns, fireside kids, and volunteers during outside time for kids during all services.
3. Organize and run games/activities/fun for kids during services while they are outside.
4. Assist in any operations/facilities tasks needed to keep service running in the Backyard.
5. Provide support to other Trinity Kids staff as needed on weekends, midweek, and for special events.
Required Skills
1. 1-3 years of experience in service, administrative, or equivalent role.
2. This person must have a love for Jesus Christ, Trinity Church, children and their families, and a love for organizing, helping, and serving to further the mission of Trinity Church Kids ministry.
3. Must be hard working, dependable, and able to self-manage time and workflow.
4. Strong relational skills, warm, trustworthy, and safe. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
1. Training or experience in working with children and families.
2. Training in customer service or hospitality related work.
3. Background in working with and supporting a variety of team members with different responsibilities.
4. Event planning and execution experience.
Work Schedule:
12-14 hours weekends, 2 partial days Tuesdays and Wednesdays
