Operations Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the execution of the Operations Team both during the week and on weekends to ensure a warm, welcoming environment for our church family.
  2. Manage the behind-the-scenes maintenance and day-to-day task list, including receivables and inventory.
  3. Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of church buildings and grounds, and coordinate with vendors/contractors for services.
  4. Schedule and manage the use of church facilities for services, meetings, and events, ensuring proper setup and logistics.
  5. Maintain and manage a large monthly budget without overages.
  6. Recruit, train, support, and coach volunteers to reach their full leadership potential in order to increase the reach within the Operations ministry. This includes scheduling and organizing volunteer teams for multiple ongoing church services and events.
  7. Work with fellow individuals and teams for unity, efficiency, and overall successful church ministry.

  1. A mature Christian believer who lives according to Biblical principles.
  2. A hard worker with a strong drive to succeed; is teachable, coachable, and eager to learn.
  3. Is an effective time manager and can demonstrate excellent organizational & planning skills.
  4. Is proactive and self-motivated to complete tasks and projects ahead of time.
  5. Stays calm and cheerful in a fast-paced ministry environment.
  6. Is enthusiastic and enjoys working with others.
  7. A leader who has the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and inspire individuals and teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  1. Prior knowledge and experience in Operations, Facilities, Janitorial, or a related field.
  2. Prior experience managing a budget for a company or organization.
  3. Detail oriented, has an eye for numbers and managing inventory.
  4. Can demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

5 days per week, TBD by Facilities
