First ever Trinity gathering
On Easter Sunday, Trinity held its first informational meeting and public gathering, presenting the vision for the church and beginning to assemble its launch team.

Trinity purchases its first building
After initially renting the first property, Trinity purchased the building that July, securing its first permanent church home.
Sep 2016
First full month of ministry
On Trinity’s opening Sunday, Pastor Mark began the church’s first post-launch sermon series, “Jonah: A Fishy Tale About a Faithful God.”

Trinity resumes in-person worship
After a brief closure during the state-mandated lockdown, Trinity resumed in-person services, while many churches in the area remained closed.

As part of the seventh-birthday celebration, Trinity held the grand opening of a newly developed park on its campus.

Trinity purchases its future home
On Monday, January 5, Trinity closed on the new Mountain View property, giving the church a dramatically larger, future campus.

Trinity celebrates 10 years
On Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13, Trinity celebrates its tenth birthday with a major baptism weekend marking a decade of ministry.

Our new Mountain View building will create more room for every generation to worship, grow, and build community together. In the new auditorium, more than 1,700 people will be able to gather for worship each service. A dedicated auditorium will give Next Gen and Young Adults a space of their own for worship and discipleship, while dedicated adult classrooms will make room for more people to connect as they grow in their faith.

Expanded gathering spaces will give our church family a place to spend time together before and after services, meet a friend for coffee, browse the bookstore, take a class, or simply hang out for a bit. From kids to students to young adults, families, and seniors, these spaces will allow for more people to open their Bibles to learn, open their hearts to love, and see lives and legacies transformed.

A letter from Pastor Mark

Lord willing, next summer, we will open our new church home! Next fall, we will have our grand opening celebration along with our 11th birthday and welcome thousands of new people to meet Jesus and begin their walk with God that never ends!

Can you see the Bible being preached and people learning to live under the authority of God’s Word? Can you see thousands of people being given their first Bibles as a gift from us?

Can you see all the new Christians getting baptized every service now that we will be able to do so at any time? Can you see the family members who have been praying for lost loved ones to be found standing around the baptismal with tears streaming down their faces taking videos to send to family and friends?

Can you see all the children having fun learning about Jesus in a safe, joyful environment? Can you see upwards of 500 kids ages 10 and under in our brand-new kids ministry that is three times larger than our current campus?

Can you see twice as many people worshiping together, shouting praises to Jesus Christ in our new auditorium? Can you see married couples together, raising hands to invite the Holy Spirit to bless their family?

Can you see all the people coming forward for prayer to be healed, unburdened, and led by God every service?

Can you see Real Men, Real Women, Trinity Kids, and Students all on the same night with the building packed with laughter, prayer, love, and joy, as God’s Forever-Family?

Can you see all the discipleship classes where people are growing in their walk with God and getting their questions answered from the Bible? Can you see hundreds of young couples a year preparing to be married, parents learning to raise kids for Christ, and packed classes every week helping people learn how to study the Bible for themselves and share their faith with those they love?

Can you see our coffee shop, lobby, and everywhere else on campus packed with people between services as they meet new friends, catch up with old friends, and have joy and life all over the campus?

Can you see conference weekends where we bring in world-class Bible teachers to help us learn about marriage, parenting, Christian worldview, and helping equip you to know the truth and share it with others in love?

Can you see classes and forums where we engage with the community by learning to advocate for faith, freedom, and family in the public square for the greater good and generations to come?

Can you see us throwing big parties to practice for Heaven – Easter, Christmas Eve, Fall Fest, Spring Training, our birthday, and more? Can you see hundreds and hundreds of kids running around having a blast making joy bonds with church and Jesus people?

Have we purchased our new church building?

Yes, we closed in January for $15.5 million and paid the $4 million down payment out of our savings.

What is the total cost of the new building project (purchase, construction, furnishings, and technology)?

The projected cost is $50 million, and we are awaiting bids from contractors to finalize the budget. Pastor Mark will be giving regular updates throughout fundraising and construction.

When will the new building be open?

Our goal is to open in the summer of 2027 and have a grand opening for our 11th birthday in the fall of 2027.

What will happen to our current building?

We will sell it to a non-woke, Bible-believing Christian church and are currently under contract. We are a debt-free church, and all profit will go to the new church building.

What are the projected service times in the new building?

Our plan is to start with services Saturday 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. We will have more time for worship, prayer, communion, baptisms, and hanging out as a church family. Pastor Mark will have time for longer sermons and live preaching.

What are some of the things the staff are most excited about?

Right now, our ministry is scattered between three locations. The staff is excited to get everyone and everything together. Our two permanent baptismal tanks will allow 1,000+ baptisms a year, which is very exciting, as every service can be a salvation celebration.

How will the new building allow us to make more disciples?

Having Real Women, Real Men, Trinity Kids, and Trinity Students all together on Wednesday night will be a huge benefit to helping people take the next step in their walk with Christ. More classroom space will allow for more practical, Bible-based training (e.g., marriage, parenting, finances). We will also launch the Trinity Church Discipleship Institute as a more formal training process to help develop our leaders, especially the next generation of young leaders. We are constantly breaking records for pre-married couples and children, and we will accelerate our discipleship of the next generation.

What will not change with our move to a new church home?

Who we are will not change. Our mission, vision, values, doctrine, and ministry will remain the same, only larger, as we make room for our growing church family.

What new things can happen in the new church home?

We can have large worship nights. We can host large events for men, women, and students. We can host large training events for marriage and parenting. We can host political and cultural debates and discussions to educate our people on living their faith in the public square and standing up for righteousness.

What is the plan for Real Men?

This massive move will allow us to take the lid off Real Men and explode from a ministry to a movement, meeting on Tuesdays and Wednesday nights. The goal is to have the largest weekly Christian men’s ministry gathering in the history of North America as we build up men to bless women and children. We will also welcome pastors from other churches and train them in how to start a men’s ministry of their own, as we already have over 200 pastors. We refuse to let the world raise the next generation of men. We have a mandate from our Father to reach and raise up His sons!

What God Has Already Done

✓In ten years God has taken us from nothing to a church family with a new home underway.
✓More than 2,500 people baptized here.
✓God has provided more than $30 million of the $50 million this project needs, through the sale of our McDonald Road campus, cash, and pledges.
✓The city of Scottsdale approved our first round of permits.
✓The interior is stripped back to the shell. The columns, roof structure, and second floor are coming out to open up the worship space.
✓Construction is underway, on schedule and on budget.
✓God sent us architects with more than a thousand church projects behind them.
✓God sent us a construction team that has built more than eighty churches.
✓God sent us an interior design team building the vision of a modern mountain lodge in wood, stone, and brick.
